Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs

-Provide pet taxi pick up and drop off services. Applicant must be a minimum of 25 years old for insurance reasons and must be comfortable with driving in high traffic areas such as Dallas.
- Clean and maintain kennel areas, including cages, runs, and common areas
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Provide basic training and socialization for dogs to improve their behavior and adoptability
- Practice safe animal handling techniques to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service

-This position does require weekends, as we are open 7 days a week.

Skills:
- Experience or knowledge in pet care is highly desirable
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety at all times
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and ability to follow instructions from staff
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
